Poly-wood/poly-lumber is a high density polyethylene plastic derived from POST-consumer waste such as milk jugs, and plastic packaging that would otherwise be thrown in a landfill. This material is cleaned in a decontamination process to a high purity level. Then it is formulated with ultraviolet (UV) stabilizers and color pigments and formed into shapes and profiles used to create the beautiful maintenance-free furniture.
